Sachin Pilot's political journey began following in the footsteps of his father, Rajesh Pilot, a senior leader of the Congress party.

In 2004, he contested and won the Lok Sabha elections from the Dausa constituency in Rajasthan, becoming one of the youngest MPs in India.
